Not very good really. Big messy, lumpy bumpy surf which meant the paddle out was difficult (especially as it was first thing in the morning), difficult to catch the waves and then difficult to do anything with them once you caught them.

Still, I caught some waves, it was a good way to wake up and it was some exercise, so it was better than doing nothing.
